Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Cozumel area.
Cozumel is a Caribbean island about 12 miles off the coast of Mexico, and about a 45-mile ferry ride south of Cancun.
Jacques Cousteau considered the crystal clear waters around Cozumel to provide the best diving experience in the world, as
they are loaded with hundreds of species of coral, tropical fish and exotic plant and animal life that can be seen to a
depth of 150 feet. The town of San Miguel provides a full assortment of shops and places to eat, from small snack stands,
to open air markets, to the elegant restaurants in the resorts. The land is as fertile as the sea, and the cuisine of
Cozumel consequently is quite varied, but always very simply prepared, natural and renewing.
